IDEAL SIZE – 100 mm metal lids for jars are essential for canning production. They fit jars with a diameter of 89 mm and feature a threaded 6-hook design. FOOD SAFE – Our 100 mm diameter lids are made of tinned sheet metal and coated on the inside with food-grade silicone sealant. This prevents the contents of the jar from reacting with the metal and the lid from corroding. TIGHT SEAL – The 100 mm diameter lids with six hooks seal the jars tightly, both at room temperature and after heat treatment during sterilization or pasteurization. They effectively protect preserves from oxygen, moisture, and insects, thus extending their shelf life. TWIST-OFF CLOSURE – The lids are carefully shaped so that liquids and loose products sealed in the jar retain their aroma.
