Beautiful, statement piece ceramic floral platter, fairtrade, hand-painted by Palestinian artisans. Fairtrade and handmade using environmentally-friendly recycled materials, this platter is crafted by a local women’s group in Hebron, Palestine that strive to alleviate local poverty and unemployment and preserving traditional skills. Khitam hand paints all of the ceramics. Working in a community with high unemployment enables her to economically support herself and her family; she summarised the impact and her feeling towards this undertaking is a few words; she said, “now I cannot live without it”.
